Bali holds a special place in our hearts. It was there the seed for JJUIN was planted.
The temples, the serene energy of the locals, the endless rice fields, the vibrant colors and architecture all captivated our senses. The real connection was made with the artisans, watching their hands move rhythmically as they skillfully carved exquisite wooden objects, I remembered sitting for hours mesmerized by the creativity that flowed, unsure of what each piece would become but certain of its beauty.
A treasured Buddha, my first purchase on that very same trip graced the fireplace mantel for years. Memories of that moment flooded back-the fear of loosing my luggage and the reprimand about my oversized carry-on, were all worth it to ensure the safety of my cherished piece. It represented more than just an accent piece; it was a connection to Bali, the artisans and to my own journey.
Years later we returned to find the same artisans, reconnecting with the spirit of creativity. Today our beloved Bali embarks on a new journey as we welcome the world of JJUIN.
